• Depart from home cities.

• Overnight flights to Johannesburg, arranged with KACF travel agent or independently.

• Arrive in Johannesburg on June 26.​

 

June 26: Arrival in Johannesburg

• Overnight at the Protea Hotel (10-minute shuttle from the airport).

• Meet teammates.​

 

June 27: Johannesburg City Tour

• City tour, Soweto visit, and school collaboration.

• Overnight at Protea Hotel.

• Breakfast included; other meals at own expense.​

 

June 28: Travel to Manyoni

• Morning flight to Durban with the team.

• Connect with shuttle driver for a three-hour drive north to Manyoni.

• Breakfast included.​

 

June 28 - July 2: Manyoni Private Game Reserve

• Interact with elephants Rambo and Rachel.

• Two daily safaris in a Big Five reserve.

• Visit the rhino orphanage and meet the team.

• All meals included.

July 2 - 5: Tembe Elephant Park

• Indigenous people's park, run by the local Tembe tribe.

• Participate in leopard camera trap project, lion radio telemetry collaring, and wildlife conservation projects.

• Collar an elephant and assist with black rhino horn management.

• Schedule based on Tembe's team needs and our team's preferences.

• All meals included.​

 

July 5: Travel to Southern African Wildlife College

• Shuttle from Tembe Elephant Park.

• Long travel day; welcome braai (BBQ) upon arrival.​

 

July 5 - 9: Southern African Wildlife College

• Meet teacher Miss Lefa Malapane and visit her school.

• Activities: garden planting, soccer, art, student safari, and dinner.

• Full day safari in Kruger National Park.

• Rhino horn trimming with teammates and vets.

• Watch "Rhino Man" and hike in Timbavati with rangers.

• Bush plane flight over the park and K9 unit demonstration.

• All meals included.

 

July 9: Departure Home

• Shuttle to Hoedspruit airport (45-minute drive).

• Fly out to Johannesburg and return home.​

 

July 10: Arrival

• Return to home cities.
